Home Business Ideas - Work a Lot Make a Little
Here is a concept that not many people understand. Maybe it is because not many people like it. For the most part, unless you are able to catch lightning in a bottle, at the beginning of any journey in running a home based business you are going to work a lot and make a little. Whatever you do, do not get your calculator out and see how much you made per hour because you will be well under minimum wage. For example, the average first check in a Network Marketing business is a shade over $7. Most people have worked many multiple hours to earn that check.
Most people who have Home Business Ideas always think they are going to make money commensurate with the hours they put in. This is the mindset of an employee. This is the mindset of a w-2 wage earner and it simply does not apply to running a business. The concept behind most home based businesses is that you work a lot to make a little so that you can earn a lot and work a little down the road. When you have Home business Ideas and then finally commit to one of those ideas you start the process of building, developing, testing different marketing ideas, testing different consumer behavior theories, developing different business models and dealing with a lot of rejection. This all adds up to working a lot and making a little. BUT, when you finally figure it all out and you hit the right business model and you hit the right marketing idea and you are attracting the right customers, your business will snowball especially a network marketing business which has a tremendous ripple effect when the people you sponsor are taught the winning formula that you worked so hard and so long to figure out!
Remember, if you are committed to your home business idea and you are passionate about what you are doing, you must make a 3 to 5 year commitment so you can figure it all out!
